Deadly crash involving bicyclist in Okeechobee County Wednesday morning

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash involving a bicyclist on U.S. Highway 441/Parrott Avenue and State Road 70 in Okeechobee County Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around 6:24 a.m. Information about the driver and their vehicle is limited at this time

The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office says the northbound lanes are shut down.

Okeechobee City Police are helping with detours.

OSO asks the public to follow detour signs, use caution, and have patience traveling through the area, as closures will likely last for hours.
