A deadly crash is under investigation in Winter Haven.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said a pedestrian was hit and killed at Cypress Gardens Boulevard Southeast & Lake Ruby Drive North early Thursday. The location of the crash is about two miles from LEGOLAND Florida.
The pedestrian has not been identified, however, the sheriff’s office said they were an adult.
The driver stayed at the scene following the crash. A Kia Soul appears to be involved in the investigation.
No other details were immediately available.
