Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash at Northwest 107th Terrace and Northwest 11th Avenue on Wednesday morning.
The driver of the vehicle died as a result of the crash, according to deputies.
The crash occurred in a densely populated residential area off West Newberry Road.
Officials say the crash will cause traffic delays for those traveling through the area and suggest taking an alternate route if possible.
Florida Highway Patrol is taking over the investigation of the crash, and the cause remains unknown.
