Deadly train collision investigated in Seminole County

 A person died after being struck by a train in an unincorporated area of Sanford, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.

The collision happened around 9:40 a.m. Monday in the area of 25th Street and Old Lake Mary Road.

Deputies said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, but they have not released any information about the person’s identity.
