A 27-year-old female driver from Sarasota driving a 2008 Cadillac Escalade colliding with a 43-year-old male pedestrian from Palmetto.
The crash happening at the intersection of US 41 & Scale Avenue at around 1:20 a.m. on May 6, 2026.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, while the female driver suffered no injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
