There is an active investigation into a deadly shooting on Abscott Street in Port Charlotte Monday night.
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office confirmed they are investigating. Deputies said it was an isolated incident and everyone is accounted for.
Gulf Coast News is at the scene. There are multiple CCSO vehicles there, and crime scene tape can be seen in the area.
Neighbors told Gulf Coast News they heard more than five shots, and that one of them performed CPR before the ambulance arrived.
