Deputies investigate Lake Worth Beach shooting that left one dead, one injured

 Investigators are working to identify the shooter after a man was killed and a woman was wounded in Lake Worth Beach on Saturday night.

On Saturday, deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) say they responded to reports of a shooting on the 1700 block of Tropical Drive in Lake Worth Beach at 7:10 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies say they found two victims — a woman and a man — suffering gunshot wounds.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman was transported to the hospital. Her condition has not been released at this time.

The incident is being investigated as a homicide. The motive and suspect are currently unknown.
