A woman found with a gunshot wound on Thursday night is dead, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say the incident happened between Baldridge Drive and Nine Mile Road.
According to deputies, EMS was treating the woman on scene until she passed.
No further information was released.
A homicide investigation is underway.
