One dog and several cats were rescued from a residential fire in Tampa on Monday, Tampa Fire Rescue announced.
Around 5:30 p.m., fire rescue responded to the fire on W. Paris Street.
Once inside the single-story residence, firefighters found no residents but did rescue the dog named Lily along with the cats.
Firefighters successfully revived Lily and treated the cats for smoke inhalation.
Fire rescue said the fire was successfully brought under control in approximately 30 minutes.
All pets were safely reunited with their owners and no injuries were reported to civilians or firefighters, fire rescue said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Tampa Fire Marshal.
