A dog died and several other animals and people were rescued Friday morning in a fire at an Orlando apartment complex, officials said.
Units responded to the 1800 block of South Semoran Boulevard where at least two apartments were impacted, according to the Orlando Fire Department.
Firefighters rescued an adult and a baby who were both treated at the scene, the department said on social media.
Though the post states a dog died due to the fire, it added that another dog and three birds were rescued.
No injuries were reported, firefighters said.
