A driver was airlifted to the hospital after their vehicle crossed over a canal in Cape Coral during a single-vehicle crash.
According to the Cape Coral Police Department, officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Sunday, when they discovered that the vehicle had crossed over Mohawk Canal from NW 24th Place and NW 6th Street.
Witnesses say the impact of the vehicle shook their house.
The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle.
The man was transported to the Gulf Coast Hospital by Lee Flight.
Doctors did not determine any life-threatening injuries, CCPD said.
