A man has died following a crash in southwest Miami-Dade.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office responded to a traffic crash around 6:14 p.m. in the area of Southwest 127 Avenue.
According to investigators, a man traveling north on Southwest 127th Avenue struck a tree.
The driver was taken to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
The sheriff’s office’s Traffic Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation, and the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
No other information was immediately released.
