A driver was sent to the hospital after a van reportedly rear-ended a tractor-trailer on I-75 northbound in North Naples Thursday night.
According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at 9:59 p.m. near mile marker 109.
CCSO said a driver was trapped in the van and taken out of the vehicle by firefighters. They were flown to Gulf Coast Medical Center with serious injuries.
The sheriff’s office and the Florida Highway Patrol are investigating at this time.
