Sanford police are searching for a driver who took off after hitting a bicyclist.
The hit-and-run happened Wednesday just after 2 a.m. at the intersection of 25th Street and Park Avenue.
Investigators said based on witness statements, the vehicle is believed to be a dark in color pickup truck that left the area driving westbound on 25th Street.
Sanford police said the bicyclist was located with serious injuries and transported to a local hospital.
