Driver sought in Tarpon Springs hit-and-run that seriously injured bicyclist.

The Tarpon Springs Police Department is seeking the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a bicyclist with life-threatening injuries on Thursday.

The crash occurred at about 5:10 p.m. at the intersection of E. Orange Street and Levis Avenue in Tarpon Springs when the suspect struck the cyclist. The cyclist was flown to a nearby hospital, police said.

The suspect fled the scene, driving northbound on Levis Avenue. According to TSPD, the suspect’s vehicle, a grey sedan, will have front end, hood, and windshield damage.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the vehicle and/or driver is asked to contact the Tarpon Springs Police Department at 727-938-2849.
