Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a driver responsible for a hit-and-run crash in Cape Coral.
Police believe the driver of a black Lexus R-X-350 hit a man on his electric dirt bike on the Cape Coral Bridge on Aug. 17.
The front fender of the Lexus was stuck in the back wheel of the e-bike, which was destroyed.
The victim, Richard Schafer, was in the hospital after that crash and is still recovering.
“Can you just replace my bike? Please? I’ll say we’re square after that. Replace my bike and we’re good,” said Schafer.
