An Alva woman has been sentenced for a deadly 2021 crash that left a father and his two daughters dead in Hendry County.
Anne Lang received three life sentences for the deaths of Enedino Galindo, 42, and his two daughters, Aryana, 15, and Keanna, 13.
Lang was reportedly speeding, going more than 100 mph, when she hit the family’s car as they were backing out of a driveway.
Reports say Lang’s blood alcohol level was 0.22, which is nearly three times the legal limit.
Lang was found guilty of three counts of vehicular homicide and sentenced to life in prison on each count, which will run concurrently with each other.
She was also found guilty of three counts of DUI manslaughter. Lang will serve 14 years in the state prison. This will be followed by one year of probation on each count to be served concurrent with each other but consecutive to the life sentences.
According to the Twentieth Judicial Circuit of Florida, if Lang were to ever be on probation, the special conditions for her include the following:
- She must obtain a substance abuse evaluation within 30 days of release
- Subject to random screens
- No possession or consumption of alcohol
- Attend DUI school
- $2,000 fine on each DUI count (x3)
- Permanent driver’s license revocation.
