An Ebro man was arrested after punching his mother.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says JRH,21, and his mother were arguing when Haines punched her and then left the scene before returning shortly.
Authorities say the victim got into her vehicle and tried to leave the home, but H repeatedly turned the car off, in an attempt to prevent her from leaving.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Department says that eventually she was able to leave and go to the emergency room, but her son insisted on going with her.
The victim told the ER staff that she did not want H there with her, authorities say. He left the hospital in a black Toyota Corolla.
WCSO says the victim had a broken nose, a busted lip that required stitches, a laceration on her nose, and loss of a tooth.
Later, H was pulled over in Washington County and questioned regarding the allegations.
He was arrested and charged with felony aggravated battery.
