Miami police are investigating a crash involving an elderly pedestrian on Monday morning.
The crash happened in the area of Northwest 36th Street between 30th and 33rd avenues.
Authorities said the victim is an elderly man who was unresponsive when they arrived and was being treated by Miami Fire Rescue.
The driver remained at the scene, police said.
Video appeared to show officers at the scene standing by a sedan behind police tape.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area until the roadway reopened before 8 a.m.
