An 85-year-old Pensacola man using a walker was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Escambia County on Monday, according to FHP.
The crash happened around 6 p.m.
Troopers say the man was struck by a vehicle while walking along the edge of the northbound lane of North Green Street, just south of the intersection with West Moreno Street.
FHP says the driver of the vehicle fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Escambia County EMS transported the man to a local trauma center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, according to FHP.
No further details have been released.
