Fort Myers Fire Department responded to a fire that broke out in the back of a home in Fort Myers, which was caused by electrical issues.
The house is along Lincoln Boulevard.
The call came in around 3 p.m. Fort Myers Fire Department said they got there just in time before the fire spread to the rest of the house, which would have made things much worse.
The family living there said the firefighters busted down their bedroom door to get to the flames.
FMPD said electrical issues tripped the fuse, so Florida Power and Light had to cut off the power.
