ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A house fire broke out on Sunday night in Escambia County, according to the Escambia County Fire Rescue.
The fire occurred on the 9500 block of Hummingbird Blvd., prompting a swift response from Escambia County Fire Rescue units.
Heavy flames and smoke were visible from the garage of the single-story home when fire units arrived at 9:59 p.m.
Firefighters conducted Vent Enter Search operations in one of the bedrooms, ensuring all occupants and pets safely escaped the blaze.
The fire was brought under control by 10:16 p.m., and no injuries or fatalities were reported.
However, the home suffered heavy damage and is considered a total loss, according to the Escambia County Fire Rescue.
An investigation by Escambia County Fire Rescue determined the cause of the fire to be electrical in nature.
