The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fatal crash on Monday.
According to authorities, the crash occurred on the bridge between Eastpoint and Apalachicola.
Both lanes of traffic are currently closed; therefore, the bridge is closed. Drivers are advised to avoid this area, authorities said.
Sheriff A.J. Smith said first responders are working to resolve the issue to have the bridge back open as quickly as possible.
