Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on I-75 southbound near Mile Marker 202 in Sarasota County.
Troopers arrived at the scene around 9:06 a.m. At least one person is dead.
The southbound lanes were blocked as of 9:14 a.m. Traffic was backed up nearly 4 miles, with delays close to 40 minutes.
