Fatal pedestrian vs. vehicle crash in Pinellas Park

The Pinellas Park Police Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian vs. vehicle crash that occurred late Wednesday night.

According to the Pinellas Park Police Department, officers responded to a report of a crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian around 10:16 p.m. on Gandy Boulevard.

Pinellas County Fire Department personnel pronounced the pedestrian deceased on the scene of the crash.

Investigators found that the pedestrian was attempting to cross Gandy Boulevard outside the crosswalk.

The driver remained at the scene of the crash.
