A home along Via Madonna in Englewood was destroyed by a fire Wednesday afternoon.
According to Englewood Fire officials, the call came in at approximately 3:45 p.m., and units found a home fully engulfed in flames.
Officials said there were no injuries and ruled it an accidental electrical fire.
The Red Cross assisted a father and son who lived at the home, according to fire officials.
Englewood Fire said it had help from Charlotte County Fire & EMS and North Port Fire Rescue.
