A FedEx truck caught fire Friday along Florida’s Turnpike after crashing into a ditch, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The fire was reported around 10:40 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the Turnpike, southeast of State Road 50, near mile marker 272.
According to troopers, the driver was able to get out of the truck, which was filled with packages, and was uninjured.
The fire was extinguished, and the vehicle was towed, the FHP said.
Photos shared by a News 6 viewer showed the front of the truck engulfed in flames.
An investigation is ongoing.
