FHP investigating fatal crash in Walton County

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -The Florida Highway Patrol says a man was killed in a crash in Walton County, Wednesday morning.

According to troopers, the accident happened on State Road 83 near Cat Island Road just before 6 a.m.

Law enforcement says the driver of a Toyota Tundra made an improper left turn failing to yield to another truck causing a crash.

The driver of the tundra was treated on the scene for minor injuries.

FHP said the driver of the other truck, a man from DeFuniak Springs was transported to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
