Authorities are investigating a fatal crash involving an SUV and a semi on Interstate 75 in Weston early Wednesday.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 just north of Royal Palm Boulevard, Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
The person inside the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity wasn’t released.
All southbound lanes of I-75 were closed at one point before the roadway reopened around 5 a.m.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
