FHP: Largo woman grabs trooper’s genitals, bites his leg during arrest

A woman faces several charges after authorities say she grabbed a Florida Highway Patrol trooper’s genitals and bit his leg during her arrest.

According to FHP, it happened around 5:15 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 4 just near the Interstate 275 connector. Troopers say a 25-year-old Tyshera Williams of Largo was going westbound on I-4 in her Chevy sedan approaching I-275.

Troopers say Willaims was impaired and lost control of her car and collided with a barrier wall. Troopers said they arrived and determined she should be arrested.

However, troopers said Williams resisted and “had to be physically restrained.” As she was being restrained, FHP said Williams “grabbed the trooper’s genitals and bit his leg.”

She was charged with resisting arrest with violence and DUI.
