FHP: Man dead after his truck spun, overturned, struck ‘power pole,’ caught fire in Baker Co.

A man died Monday night in Baker County after a white pickup truck he was driving, spun, overturned, struck a “power pole,” and caught fire, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP says the crash happened at 11 p.m. and that identification of the driver is “pending,” as he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was traveling north on County Road 125 (Crews Road) when the truck left the roadway “for unknown reasons,” according to FHP’s crash report.
