A two-vehicle wreck involving a car and a pickup truck Monday evening killed one person and injured another.

Here’s what we know about the crash:

Near Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 6455 SW SR 200.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said a woman driving a Genesis was eastbound on SR 200. A Ford F-150 was westbound on the same road.

The pickup crossed the grassy median for an unknown reason and collided with the car, which officials said was in the center lane.

The speed limit on that stretch of SR 200 is 50 mph. Eastbound traffic was blocked at the church to allow troopers to investigate the crash.

Both drivers were taken to a local hospital, where the woman died, FHP troopers said. Officials identified her only as a 65-year-old woman from Ocala.

The pickup driver, a 59-year-old man from Beverly Hills, was listed in serious condition, law enforcement officials said.
