A woman is dead and two men are injured following a crash that involved a Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) bus.
The Florida Highway Patrol said this happened after 8:30 p.m. Saturday when a PSTA passenger bus was driving westbound on Roosevelt Boulevard and was stopped at a red traffic light at the intersection of Lake Carillon Drive.
Troopers said the 38-year-old bus driver turned left, despite the red light still on, into the path of a Nissan Armada driven by a 57-year-old Clearwater man going eastbound and crashed into each other.
The bus driver, who was unrestrained, was ejected from the bus following the crash, according to FHP.
Both the Nissan driver and bus driver suffered serious injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Investigators also said the Nissan had a passenger, a 57-year-old Clearwater woman, who died from her injuries after being taken to the hospital.
