A 65-year-old Atmore woman crashed into an Escambia County deputy vehicle on Christmas day.
It happened around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 29 and Highway 97.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the Atmore woman was traveling south on Highway 29, approaching Highway 97, when she failed to stop for a red light. That’s when she collided with an ECSO patrol vehicle traveling west on Highway 97.
The ECSO patrol vehicle then hit a van on Highway 97.
Only the Atmore woman suffered minor injuries.
The 30-year-old female deputy and the van driver were both not injured.
