Fiery crash in West Palm Beach leaves one person in the hospital

A two-vehicle crash on a West Palm Beach street set a car on fire and sent person one to the hospital.

According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, units responded to a vehicle accident with fire around 9:40 p.m. in the area of Haverhill Pointe Drive and Haverhill Road.

Fire rescue had to use a rapid-fire attack and simultaneously extricate one person who was trapped inside one of the vehicles.

The person was transported to the hospital.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s performed the crash investigation.
