Fiery crash involving 2 semis on I-10 leaves 1 driver dead: Florida Highway Patrol

All eastbound lanes of I-10 near Cecil Commerce Parkway were closed Thursday morning after a crash involving two semis that left one driver dead, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

One of the semis caught fire, which was captured on DOT camera.

The crash was first reported around 6 a.m.

FHP said one of the drivers died at the scene.

Traffic was being diverted onto State Road 23, and drivers were urged to expect delays and avoid the area if possible.
