Four people, including a 9-month-old and a 17-year-old, were transported to the hospital following a three-car collision, which resulted in those vehicles engulfing in flames on Wednesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Wetherbee Road near Sir Winston Way and Bisted Drive in Orlando.
According to FHP, the vehicles involved a 2014 Nissan Altima, a 2014 Infiniti QX60, and a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban.
A 17-year-old from Kissimmee was the driver of the Nissan Altima. A 76-year-old man from Orlando was driving the Infiniti, where the 9-month-old was also located. A 41-year-old man from Orlando was in the Chevrolet. FHP says all were transported to area hospitals.
Orange County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and quickly put out the fires.
It’s unclear what caused the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
