A residential structure fire threatened several mobile homes in St. Lucie County, according to the St. Lucie County Fire District.

SLCFD says that on Sunday, fire district crews were called to East Erie Drive in Fort Pierce following reports of a residential structure fire.

The fire was quickly contained, SLCFD says, and it was kept in the area of origin, preventing it from spreading to nearby mobile homes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
