Crews extinguished a car that caught fire on Pine Island on Friday.
According to the Matlacha/Pine Island Fire Control District, fire crews were dispatched to a car fire in Alden Pines in Pineland.
When crews arrived, they found a car on fire. The car was emitting heavy flames that were spreading to nearby brush.
The fire was quickly extinguished and prevented from spreading any further, the MPIFCD said.
One person sustained minor injuries, the MPIFCD said.
