Fire damages mobile homes in Orange County

A fire overnight Thursday in Orange County damaged two mobile homes, according to firefighters.

Crews responded to Downey Cove Drive, located in the now-abandoned Lake Downey Mobile Home Park off Dean Road south of State Road 50.

No injuries have been reported and no other details have been shared.

News 6 was last at the mobile home park in February, reporting on its deteriorated condition and on how the county is reviewing plans to build hundreds of multi-family apartment units there.

This is a developing story. Check back with News 6 for updates.
