The Fort Myers Fire Department was called to a vehicle fire around 11:26 p.m. on Friday.
A vehicle was in flames at the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard and Fowler Street. The crew found the vehicle with flames in the engine compartment.
One of the fire trucks was able to deploy the hose and put out the flames.
The people inside the vehicle were able to exit safely, and no injuries were reported.
