A large fire erupted Thursday morning at a restaurant that is on the property of a Days Inn in Oakland Park, a spokesperson for the city confirmed to Local 10 News.
Sky 10 was above the scene at 1595 W. Oakland Park Blvd. just after 7 a.m. as heavy smoke and flames were coming from the building.
Firefighters have since extinguished the blaze.
According to the city spokesperson, the restaurant is adjacent to the hotel and is not connected to the main hotel building.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
