Firefighters extinguish building fire, Gainesville Fire Rescue investigating

Firefighters put out a building fire early Tuesday morning.

According to Gainesville Fire Rescue, stations one, two, and three responded to a commercial building fire on Southeast 8th Place and Southeast 4th Street in Gainesville. The fire started in a medium-sized brick business.

Firefighters were able to quickly get the fire under control and put it out.

There were no reported injuries, and the fire is currently under investigation.
