Firefighters put out house fire in Gainesville, no injuries reported

Gainesville firefighters put out a residential fire early Monday morning.

According to Gainesville Fire Rescue officials, crews responded to a residential building fire at the area of 2701 Northeast 11th Place just before 1 a.m. after multiple callers reported the fire.

Crews were able to quickly put out the fire, and there were no injuries reported. Four adults were displaced due to the fire, and the Red Cross is providing assistance to them. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
