Firefighters rescue driver trapped in vehicle after crash in Reddick

A driver was rescued inside a trapped car after a vehicle crash in Reddick Monday morning.

Marion County Fire Rescue officials responded to an accident on West Highway 329 just after 5:30 a.m.

Firefighters found a pickup truck rolled over in a field after it had crashed through a fence. The driver was trapped inside the truck and had sustained injuries.

Fire rescue authorities were able to get the driver out of the vehicle a few minutes after 6 a.m. He was then taken to a nearby hospital.
