A plane crash sent seven people to the hospital in Palm Beach County, first responders said.
A release from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said at about 4:30 p.m., rescue personnel were dispatched to a plane crash near the intersection of Lake Osborne Drive and Cochran Drive.
First responders said a single-engine plane skimmed the top of a car carrying five people, but it only caused minor damage.
The plane, however, suffered heavy damage to the nose after crashing to the ground.
Two people were taken to a Palm Beach County hospital as trauma alerts, while the other five from the car were taken to a hospital for evaluation.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
