A woman who was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street died from her injuries a month later.
According to a crash report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), JH was crossing Broadway when she suddenly walked into the path of a 2023 Toyota Tundra. Upon the collision with the truck, H, 39, was knocked to the ground.
The driver was able to apply her car’s brakes before coming to a stop in the southbound lanes of Broadway facing south.
H was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center where she was treated for her injuries. She died from her injuries on Wednesday at the Bethesda East Hospital.
The driver did not sustain any injuries.
