Florida’s Turnpike reopens in Osceola County after tractor-trailer fire, Florida Highway Patrol says

A vehicle fire temporarily forced all northbound lanes of the Florida’s Turnpike to close in Osceola County on Monday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash happened around noon near mile marker 204 in the Kenansville area.

According to the FHP, a tractor-trailer was traveling north on the Florida’s Turnpike when the trailer became engulfed in flames.

Troopers said the cab was able to disconnect from the trailer and the driver was not injured.

All lanes have have been cleared and are open, the FHP confirmed on social media.
