A person was wounded in a shooting late Friday night in Fort Lauderdale, authorities confirmed.
Fort Lauderdale police said officers responded around 10:35 p.m. to the 2800 block of Southwest First Street, where they found an adult victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to Broward Health Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to authorities.
The victim’s age or gender has not been disclosed at this time.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
