A fire early Saturday morning forced people staying at a Fort Myers hotel near downtown to evacuate.
Fort Myers Fire Fighters called to the Holiday Inn along Cleveland Avenue around 3:45 a.m.
A person staying at the hotel tells Gulf Coast News, their speaker started the fire.
